FULL TIME LAUNDRESS

This role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and a deep understanding of fabric care and wardrobe management and we are looking for candidates who have held a position such as this already.

Responsibilities

_Laundry & Garment Care
– Sort laundry by colour, fabric type, and washing requirements
– Pre-treat stains using appropriate techniques and products
– Wash clothing, linens, towels, and delicate items in accordance with care labels
– Hand-wash fine or specialty fabrics including silk, lace, and cashmere
– Iron, steam, or press garments as required
– Fold and store laundry neatly in designated areas
– Handle intimate garments and personal items with discretion and care

_Equipment & Household Coordination_
– Maintain and clean laundry machines, irons, and steamers
– Prioritise urgent items, such as last-minute event outfits
– Coordinate with housekeepers and the wardrobe assistant for household events and guest preparation

Key requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within a UHNW household or luxury hospitality setting
• Deep knowledge of garment care, stain treatment, and fabric handling
• Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of employer privacy and preferences
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise professionally with household staff
