The salary of a Private Chef will ultimately depend on their level of training, expertise and experience, however, the average annual salary is between £50,000 to £90,000+.

The primary location of the role will also be a consideration when negotiating salary. Positions that are based overseas, within central London or roles that require frequent travel may require a higher salary.

The role of a Private Chef

A Private Chef is an essential hire for any household with secondary tier private staff. They are responsible for all food preparation, including all meals, snacks, fridge fillers and dinner party/event catering.

• Shopping & provisioning
• Stocktaking & rotation
• Catering for specific dietary requirements
