A Private Chef is required for a Chalet booking in the Four Valleys, Switzerland. You are required from February 27th to March 27th and will have 1 day off per week. Fine dining cuisine is not required for this booking with the client preferring a more rustic style.
There are no dietary requirements or intolerances to cater to, however, the family enjoy healthy, balanced cuisine with the occasional treat of classic alpine dishes such as fondue or raclette.
Guest numbers will typically be between 2-6 but could be as many as 10 if restrictions allow. Larger numbers are only expected for a few days at a time. The client and her husband will be in residence for the whole booking with various family and friends passing through for a few days a time.
To apply for the position applicants must have availability for all dates and a portfolio of food photographs, sample menus and references.
All flights and transfers will be arranged by the client, however, you must arrange your own travel insurance for the duration of the booking.
The chosen Chef will be given 1 day off per week. The Principals intend to eat out frequently, whether that be for lunch or dinner. They will let you know in advance if they intend to eat out in the evening.
Accommodation provided on-site within the chalet.
This role would suit a Chef with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
