Domestic Couple – Kent

£60,000.00-£75,000.00|Sevenoaks, Kent|Permanent, Live-out

We are currently recruiting a housekeeping & maintenance couple for British clients in Kent. Working hours are Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00. This role would suit applicants with a private household, luxury chalet or yacht background.

The role is based at a large, newly renovated property consisting of 7 bedrooms, with 3 acres of garden, swimming pool and tennis courts.

The role requires all housekeeping and laundry duties. All exterior maintenance, pool care and general gardening must also be carried out by the Domestic Couple.

Additional to housekeeping and maintenance/gardening skills, the client would be very keen to explore any candidates with confident family cooking skills, therefore we ask applicants to include sample menus. These must include soups, salads & light lunches, afternoon tea cake and family-style dinner options (shepherds pie, casserole, roasts, pasta dishes, pan-roasted salmon etc). Confident cooking skills are a bonus and not an essential requirement.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Domestic Couple. The family are extremely warm and welcoming and would be happy to discuss on-going project ideas with you, such as planning and a building a kitchen garden/small allotment or replacing existing plants and shrubs with more seasonal planting.

Dog sitting is not required when the Principals are travelling, however, you are required to remain keyholders of the property and oversee general security.

The family are hoping to secure a Domestic Couple who are looking for a long-term position. Due to the property undergoing a complete refurbishment, the house is extremely easy to keep clean and maintain. It is designed with efficiency in mind and has separate laundry rooms, storage and hard floors throughout.
