Executive Assistant

£80,000.00-£100,000.00+|Near Oxford|Permanent

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly-experienced Executive Assistant. The role is a 1-1 position supporting a CEO of a world-renowned luxury vehicle manufacturer. Applicants must have experience supporting at CEO level within a large corporation.

This is a fast-paced working environment, with daily changes to meeting schedules, travel arrangements etc. The ideal candidate will remain calm under pressure and have the ability to adapt quickly when required.

Attention to detail and exceptional focus are both essential qualities for any candidate wishing to apply for this role. You will be working at the very top of your field and liaising with a large global team therefore all applicants must be excellent communicators and practised team-players.

The position does not require frequent travel, however, a degree of flexibility will most certainly be required.

The client is looking for an EA with a tremendous level of efficiency, additional to a confident approach and the ability to communicate and problem-solve.

Applicants with intermediate German language skills would be of huge interest to the client.

This role would suit an applicant who can display a degree of longevity in previous employment supporting at CEO/Founder level within a large corporation.

Location: Nearest town – Oxford

Salary: Fully negotiable for the right candidate

Hours: Monday-Friday with virtual support required

Travel: Applicants must be prepared to travel if required

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include the following:

  • Support ratio – 65% Corporate/35% Private
  • Business & personal diary management
  • Arranging meetings and meeting spaces (internal & external)
  • Reading & responding to emails
  • Reading letters and drafting responses
  • Travel itineraries & flights (private & commercial)
  • Liaising with private pilots
  • Arranging insurance (health, travel etc)
  • Visa applications (extensive)
  • Follow-ups with client/frequent updates
  • Accounting & expenses
  • Shopping, gift sourcing & errand running
  • A degree of private support (utilities, household staff management etc)
  • Reservations
  • Vehicle paperwork

Key requirements

To be suitable for this role, you must have:

  • Fluent English (spoken & written)
  • Basic/conversational German
  • Extensive experience as a Corporate Assistant
  • A fast thinker, able to adapt quickly to last-minute changes
  • Immaculate presentation
  • Detail orientated
  • Able to plan ahead and anticipate the client’s requirements
  • A confident manner
  • Exceptional communicator
  • Able to work long hours when required
