Head Chalet Chef – Morzine

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Chef who is looking for a seasonaire role this winter ski season. There will be plenty of time to ski with two full days off each week.

You are asked to provide a hearty breakfast before the guests hit the slopes, including continental and cooked options. You will then prepare afternoon tea before a 4-course dinner every evening (including canapes, starter, main and dessert).

A front of house team is in place to see to all housekeeping and service. A Sous Chef/Kitchen Assistant is in place to offer help with prep and washing up.

Responsibilities

• Creating weekly menus for chalet guests
• Adapting menus and dishes to guests pre-arrival preferences lists
• Delivering a wide repertoire of international cuisine to approx 20 guests
• Shopping
• Accounts
• Engaging with the chalet guests and working closely with the front of house staff
• Delivering beautifully presented plated 3-course menus plus pre-dinner canapes

Key requirements

• Ideal applicants will have experience cooking at altitude
• Chalet or private chef experience preferred
• A dedicated and professional approach
• A personable and confident nature

• EU passport holder preferred. A skilled worker visa can be arranged for UK applicants.
