Housekeeper – Penthouse (ideal for yachtie)

The UHNW Principal is not in residence full time and travels on a constant basis throughout the year. During such times, the schedule is flexible Mon-Fri 9-5 with the option of starting earlier or later.

With the Principal in residence, you will be on a rota with additional housekeepers, chefs and Butlers to ensure the property is covered at all times. Weekends are not often required, but applicants must be flexible when the Principal is in London.

The role requires a housekeeper with energy who can keep up with a fast pace when the Principal is in residence.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a team of talented household staff. The role would certainly evolve as time goes by due to the expanding property and business portfolio of this client.

Travel is not expected, but this may change in the future should the selected applicant be open to travelling with the Principal and family members overseas (optional, not essential).

Those with a yachting background would be of interest to the client as they would like to replicate the setup and high standards of their yacht at the penthouse in London. This is a bonus, but not essential. Those with pure private household experience are also welcome to apply.

The client retains his staff long-term, making this an excellent opportunity for any top-level housekeeper to grow and develop within the team as time goes on.

Salary review – every 12 months

Ideal start date – 14th June 2021 (flexible for ideal candidate)

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping
• Laundry
• Sending out dry cleaning
• Assisting Butler’s with packing and unpacking of suitcases
• Wardrobe management
• Occasional service (simple beverage service only unless a Butler is present)
• Detailed cleaning when the Principal is not in residence
• Liaising closely with additional staff, PAs and House Manager to ensure the smooth running of the property
• Possibly travel to additional London residences owned by the client (occasional, not expected)

Key requirements

• Relevant experience within private household/yachts
• DBS check (please contact the agency if you require assistance)
• British passport or UK settlement status
• Attention to detail

• Skills to see to all aspects of housekeeping and laundry
