Live-in Housekeeper/Cook
Clients with a large estate located just outside of Central London are looking for an experienced Housekeeper/Cook for a Monday-Friday position with separate self-contained accommodation provided. Candidates will need to be flexible to work on occasional Saturdays when needed.
Responsibilities
- Washing and ironing. Knowledge of handwashing and care of delicate fabrics
- Wardrobe care and management (seasonal rotation of garments etc)
- Packing and unpacking before and after trips for baby and family
- A confident cook who is open to learning new cuisines. Knowledge and familiarity with Indian cuisine would be a huge advantage
- Making fresh juices daily
- Managing the kitchen, re-stocking, shopping, stock rotation
- Arrange dinner parties, including planning menus, serving drinks etc.
- Welcoming any guests to the residence
- Babysitting when required (prior notice given)
Key requirements
- Previous private household or luxury hotel experience
- DBS check
- Verifiable references
- Confident family cooking ability
- Applicants must work well as part of a team
- Availability to start as soon as possible
