Housekeeper – Hertfordshire (Zone 6)
This busy family of 6 including 4 children (Girls 5, 6 & 10 and 9-year-old boy) and their well behaved Labrador- are seeking a Live-in Housekeeper to manage the day to day cleaning, laundry and general housekeeping of their home. The property is located close to a tube station, making trips to London simple. No childcare is required as a full-time Nanny is employed. No driving is required.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm, and half-day Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm
55 hour week plus statutory entitlements (28 days holiday), along with furnished room and ensuite. Salary up to £42,600 gross per annum.
Closest tube station: Moor Park (Metropolitan line Zone 5/6). DBS required and recent checkable references, along with the right to work in the UK. Start ASAP
Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Deep Cleaning the house and making sure the home is tidy and clutter-free.
- Laundry/ironing and wardrobe management.
- Running Daily Errands / Grocery shopping
- Occasional food preparation.
- Occasional babysitting when Nanny off duty.
- Should be flexible to travel on holidays, if required.
Key requirements
- Private household experience
- Longevity in previous roles preferred
- Right to work in the UK essential (proof of settlement status required)
