Nanny – Notting Hill

£750.00 net per week|Notting Hill, London|Permanent, Live-out

We are recruiting an experienced Nanny for a Monday-Friday role in Notting Hill. You will be joining a team of 5 private household staff. Childcare and some housekeeping are required. The Principal has a Private Chef who cooks for the children, therefore food preparation is not required.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the relevant age groups and offer a flexible approach.

The children within your care are two little boys aged  4 & 7 years, both of whom attend school locally.

Travel: International travel will be required during the school holidays

Hours: Monday-Friday with weekends off (flexibility required)

Salary: £750.00 net per week

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

Childcare responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of 2 boys, 4 years and 7 years
  • Providing a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop
  • Babysitting at times agreed in advance
  • Keeping the nursery, bedroom, playroom and other areas agreed with the Employer clean and tidy at all times
  • Making sure that the children’s uniforms are clean and ready
  • Cleaning, laundering and mending the children’s clothes
  • Responsibility for cleaning and maintaining household equipment relating to the care of the children
  • School drop-offs and pick-ups / taking the children to playgroup/play dates
  • Taking the children on outings appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Ability to use all equipment related to the age of the children, e.g. buggies and car seats
  • Preparing for special occasions such as birthday parties
  • Caring for the children when they are sick and administering medicine(s)
  • Travelling with the Employer and family if required
  • Undertaking other tasks as mandated by the Employer
  • Working constructively and professionally with other employees
  • Openly communicating on a daily and consistent basis with the Employer
  • Having weekly meetings or ad hoc as required with the Employer’s House Manager or any person as nominated by the Employer

Key requirements

  • Private household experience
  • Flexible approach and a strong team player
  • Childcare experience with the relevant age groups
  • Driving licence preferred
  • Verifiable references
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Paediatric First Aid Certificate
