Nanny/Family PA – West London

The Principal works within the legal profession and requires a switched on, adaptable and educated Nanny/PA to offer support with hands-on childcare and Personal Assistant duties. Suitable candidates will have previous experience within similar roles. Prior experience with primary years and teens is preferred.

The ideal applicant will know how to juggle a varied remit and prioritise with ease and efficiency. PA experience is essential as the family have busy diaries that will need to be managed with practised care.

This is a fantastic role for an applicant looking for a combined Nanny/PA position or someone who is looking to start moving toward PA roles after a career in childcare. The current Nanny/PA is now studying at university and will be leaving the role after 3 years with the family.

Cooking for the children and parents is required (only simple family cooking is needed).

• Hours Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm.
• Salary negotiable £550 – 600 npwk / up to £42,000 gross pa.

Responsibilities

• Tend to all childcare and school-related duties along with household management keeping things ticking over, shopping, ordering, contractors etc.
• Drop off and pick up from schools, social activities, liaise with the school, emails, appointments, wardrobes, tidy children’s rooms etc.
• There is a part-time cleaner who will do the majority of the housekeeping tasks, however, it would be expected that you have a ‘muck in’ attitude ie empty dishwasher, wipe down sinks, light sweeping etc keeping the house tidy in between cleaner’s visits.
• You will also have good family cooking skills to ensure mainly the boys are looked after plus something prepared and left in the fridge for the parents to reheat/serve.

Key requirements

• Driver with a clean driving licence would be a plus but is not essential
• No pets in household – highly allergic household.
