This is a rare opportunity for a highly experienced private chef. Our client is a VIP UHNW individual with a large team of exceptional staff around the globe. The position is based between London & Oxfordshire with occasional overseas travel (short trips only).
An experienced private chef is required to join an established team of private staff. All staff members are at the very top of their specialist fields and the bar is set extremely high. All dishes are made from scratch, including stocks, bread, pasta, ice creams etc.
To apply for this role, applicants must have a driving licence and (ideally) have access to a vehicle, as you are required to travel between London and Oxfordshire on a regular basis. Candidates without their own transport must state this clearly when applying.
Candidates must have significant experience and an extensive repertoire of dishes. Favoured cuisines include Japanese dishes (sushi, salads, sashimi), Italian (homemade pasta, slow-cooked ragu, Mediterranean classics), American dishes, South American dishes (such as ceviche), BBQ etc. There are no allergies to consider, however, the household includes an elite athlete who follows a strict diet throughout the competition calendar.
The right candidate will have a cool head under pressure, be composed at all times, execute clean-working methods and be used to working within a team. The chosen applicant will report directly to two senior chefs who manage the Principal’s global setup.
The position will typically require the selected candidate to work Monday-Friday, however, absolute flexibility is required.
All candidates must have an up to date passport and able to travel at short notice when required.
Suitable applicants will have private chef, fine dining restaurant, or superyacht experience.
