Private Chef St Tropez
An experienced Private Chef is required for UHNW clients this summer. The selected candidate will work alongside a Head Chef throughout the months of July and August.
The residence is a large estate with additional household staff, including an Estate Manager, Butler, housekeeping and a Head Chef who travels with the Principals to global secondary residences.
Ideal candidates will create immaculately plated dishes with a focus on utilising high-quality seasonal produce. Applicants must be up to speed with catering for special diets (applies to external guests only).
Responsibilities
- Working on a rota schedule with the Head Chef
- Preparing all meals and snacks plus juices and smoothies
- Cleaning down and deep cleaning
- Maintaining a spotless kitchen at all times
- Shopping, menu planning and accounts
- Liaising with Butler and Estate Manager to ensure the smooth running of every service
- Catering to any guest dietary requirements
- Preparing healthy and balanced dishes
- Covering Head Chefs time off
Key requirements
- Previous private household, Michelin restaurant or yacht experience
- Availability for all dates required
- DBS certificate required (agency can assist you if you do not hold one)
- Knowledge of healthy cuisine and special diets
- Team player essential
- Written references essential
