We are looking for an exceptional Private Chef for an immediate start for a position based in Zurich, Switzerland. To apply for this role, you must be based in Zurich or have accommodation available to you.
This is an outstanding position for a highly experienced Private Chef. The Principal splits his time equally between Zurich, London and a superyacht. A full-time Chef is in place in all locations.
The role is Monday-Friday, you are not required to work at the weekends. You are also given three weeks off from the last week of December each year.
Style of cuisine is typically fine dining if the Principal is entertaining guests, however more relaxed dishes are often served from day to day.
You will be working from a comprehensively well-equipped kitchen. The Chef is encouraged to explore worldwide flavours, using the best produce and ingredients available. The client enjoys exploring new culinary ideas and has a very high level of food knowledge. You are cooking for someone who knows good food and enjoys a variety of flavour in each dish. Asian flavours are a favourite, including Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. Candidates with sushi and sashimi training would be of great interest.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a Private Chef looking for a sustainable role for the long-term. You are only required to work when the Principal is in Switzerland and are not required to travel.
The Chef will be joining a team of well-established staff, which means a good level of support will be available while you settle into the role.
Interviews will be arranged via video call with the London based Chef.
