Temporary Housekeeper – Ascot (27th Jan-7th Feb)
We are looking for an experienced housekeeper to cover a temporary booking with British clients. The residence is in Ascot, Berkshire and comprises of 7 bedrooms over three floors. Just the Principals and their dogs are typically in residence.
This role requires a skilled housekeeper to use their own initiative to maintain and run the household. Some dog sitting, laundry (cashmere and silk), and taking care of antiques, silks, and artwork will also be required. There will be some shopping and dry cleaning on occasion. Due to the rural location of the role, the housekeeper should have a driving licence.
You will cover the Principal’s full-time housekeeper, who is taking annual leave.
Accommodation can be provided if the selected housekeeper would prefer to stay on-site throughout the booking.
Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping duties
- Laundry, handwashing of delicate garments and cashmere
- Organising dry cleaning as required
- Letting the dogs out into the garden as needed if the Principals are not at home
- General tidying, dusting and careful handling of antiques and artwork
