Private Chef – Sud-Ouest France (June-August)

£200-£300 per day|South-West France|Temp-Perm, Live-in

We are currently recruiting a skilled and experienced private Chef for a young British family based in France. You will be required from early June for approximately 2-months. Should the booking be a success, the clients would consider an ongoing 2-3 month rotational contract (optional).

The chosen applicant will prepare delicious international cuisine with an emphasis on healthy eating.

The household chooses to eat red meat only very occasionally, favouring vegetarian based dishes, well-sourced fish and seafood. Southeast Asian and Indian flavours are a favourite with vegetable curries, Thai dishes and Japanese sushi/sashimi, fragrant salads and healthy grains taking centre stage.

Daily trips to the local markets offer endless opportunities to work with sensational local produce and seasonal ingredients.

The client has requested a Chef with significant private household experience and/or yachting experience. The ideal candidate will have an extensive repertoire of worldwide cuisine, with a healthy approach to cooking without the need to compromise on flavour. Poolside BBQs with grilled fish, seafood and delicious salads using locally sourced ingredients, healthy grains, lentils and legumes will certainly be on the agenda over the summer.

Accommodation is available within the main estate for the duration of the booking.

A rotational contract is available for the ideal applicant following a successful summer (optional).
