Temporary Private Chef – Surrey (May & June)
A highly experienced freelance private chef is required for UHNW clients in Surrey. The booking is based at the Principal's countryside residence. Staff accommodation provided. Candidates will have 1 day off per week throughout May & June.
Chefs must have a wide repertoire of international cuisine and a good knowledge of dietary requirements.
Booking dates are May 1st-June 30th (Monday’s off).
The Chef will cook for the Principal, his family (including a young child) and any guests. The number of guests expected will depend on current government restrictions.
The chosen chef will also be required to prepare meals/fridge fillers for their day off. Additional staff will plate/reheat as required.
Covid testing is required on a weekly basis.
Due to the quick start, applicants are encouraged to apply without delay. Up to date CV, verbal references & portfolio required. DBS certificate preferred
Responsibilities
- Catering for the Principal, his family and guests (including children)
- Shopping & provisioning
- Accounts and expenses
- Menu planning
- Catering to special preferences and dietary requirements
- Working closely with private staff, including childcare, house manager etc
- Preparing meals for days off (fridge fillers)
