Travelling Private Chef for Formula 1 Team (24 Races)
We are recruiting an accomplished private chef to travel globally with an elite Formula 1 team. The selected chef will be cooking for team drivers and VIP guests for all 24 races each year. You will be cooking trackside within the mobile village which moves around the globe throughout the racing calendar. The selected candidate will specialise in pasta and Italian/Mediterranean dishes. Start date ASAP.
Suitable applicants will have experience in cooking and provisioning worldwide and a network of specialist suppliers. You will be cooking Thursday-Sunday for each race, plus travel days, provisioning, menu planning and organising deliveries to all 24 locations.
Ideal applicants will have a vast repertoire of global cuisines and specialise in pasta, BBQ and Mediterranean dishes.
Responsibilities
Typical meal schedule per race:
- Thursday – Media day (all meals required)
- Friday – Breakfast and Lunch
- Saturday – All meals required
- Sunday – Typically two to three meals, depending on race times/driver departure time
Responsibilities:
- All provisioning
- Placing orders and organising freight
- Travelling with ingredients as required/as per import rules
- Menu planning
- Working with a larger brigade in the trackside kitchen to cater for the wider F1 team, owners and VIPs as required
