A high profile VIP client is recruiting a Chef with extensive experience. This is a temporary position lasting 4-6 weeks with the possibility of becoming long-term. Applicants with knowledge of special diets including plant-based and keto would be of particular interest to the family, along with Michelin or fine dining restaurant training. A US visa will be arranged by the client for the selected candidate.
Accommodation and a staff vehicle will be provided for the Chef and several days of training with the client’s current Private Chef will be arranged before you take over.
There is no set budget for ingredients and you are encouraged to source the best produce available to you using local and specialist suppliers.
The Chef is asked to prepare all meals and snacks for the two main principals and separate meals for the children. You will be joining an established team of private staff where a team-player approach is absolutely essential. Overall, the Chef will be cooking for approximately 12 people each day including the principals, their two young children and household staff.
Applicants must show their knowledge and experience in catering for clients with special dietary requirements, notably plant-based/vegan and keto/low carbohydrate in particular. The clients follow a healthy and balanced diet with occasional indulgent treats. There is a focus on a varied weekly menu with an emphasis on beautifully presented dishes.
A portfolio must be submitted from all applicants including an up to date CV, candidate photograph, food photographs and several sample menus including those suitable for the special diets listed above.
